Hello everybody. My name is Gabriel Brisebois, I am 23 years old and I grew up in Winnipeg, MB. My childhood was pretty fun I was always a very ambitious little kid. I was into outdoor activities and I always had a good time. I would play fair. When I got old enough to join the workforce, I started delivering papers. I did it in the wintertime so it was very cold out sometimes like -40 with the wind. I would always deliver and eventually I became old enough to work at an ice cream shop in Winnipeg. I was about 14. I would do simple things like mop the floor, take out the garbage, clean up outside, and other similar duties. I worked there for a summer and eventually I decided that I would need to make more money so I tried to find a better job. I found one at a lawn care company located in the same neighbourhood that I grew up in back in Winnipeg. I ended working there for about a summer and by the time I had finished off there I didn't make much more then I did at the last place. Now I was getting kind of anxious to make more money. I decided to get a job at a lawn care company in Winnipeg. I worked there for a summer as well and then I decided that I needed to make more money. I ended up getting a job working nights at a gas station, but it was in a really sketchy part of town and I didn'r really feel comfortable about it either. I ended up working at a pork processing plant, and I did the graveyard shift there as well. I worked there for a winter and part of a summer, but it was a very low wage even with the night premium. So I ended up getting a job as a dishwasher in a private club. This was okay although they did pay me a low wage, I got free food all the time and I felt like it was worth it. so I instantly moved to Calgary and I got right back into lawn care. I worked at a very high end company and I was trained on a number of pieces of equipment. I stayed there for 2 years. I got a lot of good experience out of that and when I moved to Winnipeg I got right back into Lawn Care and I did it for another 3 years. By this time I was about 21. I moved to Saskatoon, worked for 2 more companies, and then finally started my own.
The reason I started my own is because all my experience leaned into lawn care. Although I did graduate high school, trade school just didn't really seem like it was for me. I mean I take lawn care and landscaping courses, but that is about it. I started going to the library everyday and saving all my money and eventually day after day, I wrote up a really good business plan. I then attended a bunch of seminars and I finally came out with All-You-Need Lawn Care. Est in 2011 by myself Gabriel Brisebois, All-You-Need became very popular very quickly. Not popular enough though. I always had it in me to be an entrepreneur, I just needed to do the right research. Thanks for reading, I am good with marketing if you want help or tips just ask me. ! Thanks For Choosing All-You-Need From Sod To Seed It's Guaranteed!

Social Network Taking Over
Hello everyone let me introduce myself as Gabriel Brisebois. I am the owner of All-You-Need Lawn Care. I grew up in a French/English community called St Boniface in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My first job ever was delivering papers in the winter time to boot. I was motivated to start somewhere and that's just what's happening right here and now. I am all grown up now but things are still similar now as they were then. I spent a couple years doing lawn maintenance in Winnipeg before I moved to Calgary. When I got to Calgary it was a totally different ballgame. The standards were way higher, the rate of pay was also higher, the cost of living changed and I was loving it. I developed most of my tree and hedge trimming skills in Calgary, AB. They also used totally different machines so I got a feel for a few different types of tractors. It's pretty sweet actually because I know which ones are the most efficient, seeing as I've tried most of them. I moved back to Winnipeg because of the economy in 2009 and I decided to get back into Lawn Maintenance. I worked for another high end company for about two years until I decided it was time to move to Saskatoon. It is a brand new economy here and I couldn't turn it down! It was here where I then worked for another high end maintenance company located in the East Side area of Saskatoon. I've had experience with lawn maintenance and landscaping condos, residential homes, apartment blocks, soccer fields, swamps, creeks and more. I've cut almost any kind of grass you can think of. Anyways enough about me lets get to the juicy stuff.
Nobody really knew this because I never told anybody and I wasn't 100% sure myself either but ever since I was about 14 I've wanted my own Lawn Maintenance company. Why? I'm not quite sure, maybe I just enjoyed the atmosphere and I knew it was one I could do for the rest of my life. I'm sure a good number of lawn maintenance labourers can agree with me on that one. Well I made a decent penny here in Saskatoon and before I left Winnipeg I had some money saved up too. So I decided to heck with it. I drew up a business plan, got the proper credentials, and went ahead with All-You-Need Lawn Care. I Established the company in Saskatoon, 2011 and it grew very quickly picking up customers within the first week of operation. I sensed the potential and I was very pleased with the results. At first I manually posted ads on Kijiji's free classified ads section and it gave me some decent results. However, I am not up to times with the technology either. I still enjoy playing my nintendo although I do appreciate the technology available to this world and the advancement that I've never in a lifetime thought I would see. I went out and studied how do people advertise their lawn care. Around 70% of it is still in the news paper. I'm willing to bet there is a large number of clients who do not even own or look inside those, unless they are grabbing the coupons for ordering delivery pizza. I am a growing business and it's not that I couldn't afford to pay for the advertising, it's that I didn't want to. Why in 2012 is anybody going to go and waste money printing something out in the phone book or on their flyers? I could understand a very small advertisement but with respect to the alphabetical system, people don't go much further than a's or b's. I started attending seminars and watching youtube videos about how to market and what's the most effective way to market. I did a google search for Lawn Care in Saskatoon I returned a few results but not my company. I had gotten phone calls from several salesmen trying to sell me stuff that I really was not interested in. Most of them were claiming they could get me on the front page of google. I know it's got to be a scam because then the next guy could do the same and bump me off. I realize its all about social networking now and people want to see that you are up to times with them because it is making life a lot less complicated especially for those with disabilities. I am the first company in Saskatoon to focus mostly on online advertising and strictly word of mouth. We are trying our best not to give money into any advertising companies because if we do this together things will eventually be free. Everyone wants to see facebook, youtube, twitter, so this is what I'm going to do. I am very interested in learning more about social networking and advertising online because it is going to be 99% of people in about 5 or 10 years. Don't quote me on that is my own personal opinion. So the question is; Can a small business become large faster then they could back in the 90's? I mean now that theres social networking, google, and whatever else they have nowadays, can a company get rich quicker? Not quick, quicker. I guess we will have to wait and find out. All-You-Need Lawn Care is going to go full tilt into the 2012 season. I will link you my website and my youtube channel. Thanks for reading. I would really like somebody to respond to this.
